I made a flannel board to go with Laurie Berkner's Rocketship Run, and used it in story time last week. I pulled out the moon, sun, stars, and Earth pictures one at a time and asked the kids what they were. When I got to Earth a three year old girl shouted out excitedly while jumping up and down, "That's Earth! That's where I live!" This moment made my day!
